10 countries for the first pair of charts are selected by the situation at the end of 2012. To be exact, it's top-10 by their average levels in 2012. Levels are calculated with the described earlier method.
The leading countries are apparently permanent: China, France, Russia. Not far from them South Korea, Spain, Poland, Italy, rising Thailand and Argentina. Germany year by year was losing points due to decreasing level and number of skaters. It stayed in top-10 only by Martin Sloboda's efforts. Catching eye ups and drops and common tendencies are in the detailed yearly reports. The next chart shows number of skaters, provided level for their countries.
Despite huge surges and ebbs China had got the most impressive army of slalomers. Normally 40-50 was good number for a country and not only leading countries could provide so many. Thailand and Argentina took by the numbers which can later possibly produce several top-class athletes.
And it would be right thing to mention 10 more countries from global top-20.
Singapore and Great Britain stood out clearly and they indeed belonged to top-10 in the past years, but their presence in the Ranking almost faded in the end. We're glad to see (though slow) growth of Ukraine and Belarus.
In 2008-2012 16 countries were in top-10 places of our Country Ranking.
On this diagram the first line, for example, means that on the 1st place of this Country Ranking in Men Freestyle Slalom 5 months was Russia, 9 - France and 46 - China. Thus by country place sums we can finally rank countries for their 5-year achievements. This method seems better than others: our country scoring can't be correctly used to compare countries in different time and it's not good to apply one more formula to evaluate country place (like we already did for skaters). Let's not forget that WSSA Rankings 2008 carry results from 2007, but still we've got only 5 years of Rankings. Before joining this Country Ranking countries are considered to be on the next after the last place.

We must not leave without mention the best sportsmen which earned their top-10 places in challenging struggle. Especially with the leveling of their scores on 10 points and they should be distinct from each other. The heroes of slalom have now their unleveled points (1 place 100, 2nd - 50, 3rd - 33.33 and so on) to see who was the best of the best in the period under consideration. These points are to be multiplied on the number of months sportsmen took certain place. Then they are ranked by total sums of points.

The names of the best slalomers was and still are famous if not legendary. Kim Sung Jin (South Korea) became an example for humdreds of people in the whole world. Smooth movements on high speed, following the music, many choreografic features and, of course, the highest technical level - all that made him the Ranking Leader for 2 years! The second goes slalom veteran Igor Cheremetieff (France) with his unique “electrocuted” style nobody can replicate. And it was Igor who made wheeling footgun so popular and widely spread. The 3rd hero is Martin Sloboda (Germany) also very famous for his longest and complex wheelings. 38 sportsmen visited top-10 during 5 years. The complete list of heroes is in the file on the title page.
From Jan 2008 to Dec 2012 only 60 skaters kept their participation in the Ranking. It's 1,7% of all their number. 18 of them were in top-10.
The next chart shows progress of the best freestyle slalom guys in the WSSA Ranking. Line colors were picked according to country colors first then randomly.
