World Slalom Series Statistics 2007-2012
Women Freestyle Slalom
10 countries for the first pair of charts are selected by the situation at the end of 2012. To be exact, it's top-10 by their average levels in 2012. Levels are calculated with the described earlier method.
The leading countries are the same: Russia, China, Italy, France and plus Poland. Poland year by year went up until it took its place among leaders. Ukraine is between them and other countries, whose slalom girls didn't travel abroad to compete, like Taiwan, Argentine, Thailand.
And it would be right thing to mention 10 more countries from global top-20.
The loss of interest to freestyle slalom in Germany may soon make it to leave from top-10 charts, as happened with South Korea, Spain and Singapore.
In 2008-2012 16 countries were in top-10 of our Country Ranking.

We must not leave without mention the best sportswomen which earned their top-10 places in challenging struggle. Here's the result of their ranking, made with the described earlier method.

The names of the best slalomers were widely known. Chloé Seyrès (FRA) was always special with her strong “rock-n-roll” style as she called it. Chen Chen (CHN) – bright classic Asian style slalomer with complex tricks and transitions complemented by good choreography and following music. Femininely smooth and accurate programs of Polina Semenova (RUS) even without high-end tricks were always admired by judges and public. The third place also took Maryna Boiko (UKR) who had her own distinct style – more technical, sometimes uneven, but mostly interesting and with good following the music. The best sportswomen presented very different styles of slaloming. During 5 years 42 girls visited the top-10 lines of the Freesyle WSSA Ranking. From January 2008 to December 2012 only 24 sportswomen kept their presence in the Ranking, which is 1,8% of all number. 7 of them were in the top-10.
The next chart shows progress of the best freestyle slalom girls in the WSSA Ranking. Line colors were picked according to country colors first then randomly.
