World Slalom Series Statistics 2007-2012

10 countries for the first pair of charts are selected by the situation at the end of 2012. To be exact, it's top-10 by their average levels in 2012. Levels are calculated with the described earlier method.

Speed Slalom among men have only 3 leading countries: France, Italy and China. China suffered great waves up and down, and wasn't a steady leader, but leader nevertheless. Germany gave up its high positions with less and less participants. Russia held fast between the leaders and other countries. Poland and Argentine showed growing interest to this discipline. Taiwan and South Korea were near the bottom. The next chart shows number of skaters, provided level for their countries.

And it would be right thing to mention 10 more countries from global top-20.

As in Freestyle Singapore and Great Britain showed some activity then faded away. Other countries had just occasional peaks of interest. Will there be something new after such peaks in the end of 2012 in Malaysia, Ukraine, Hong Kong, Senegal?

In 2008-2012 16 countries were in top-10. One of them, Mauritius, is absent on the charts. This exotic country entered the Ranking only because of a single contest in 2008, when there were much less countries in Speed Slalom.

We must not leave without mention the best sportsmen which earned their top-10 places in challenging struggle. Here's the result of their ranking, made with the described earlier method.

During 5 years 35 guys visited the top-10 lines of the Speed Slalom WSSA Ranking. The complete list of heroes is in the file on the title page.

From January 2008 to December 2012 57 sportsmen kept their presence in the Ranking, which is 1,7% of all number. 17 of them were in the top-10.

The next chart shows progress of the best speed slalom guys in the WSSA Ranking. Line colors were picked according to country colors first then randomly.
